Based on today’s market action,
newly listed shares were cut in half at the open, then they were pushed up until the trading was halted. After that, they began to drift downward slowly. Clearly, the bullish fund flow did not provide enough follow-through.
We don’t want to overthink why— we only need to consider when that portion of money from the open in the morning is going to exit. It’s obvious that during the pre-market call auction, most of the funds that had already made profits yesterday had already run out.
There has also been evident panic.
Taking UniTree Robotics (Unitree Technology) into account,
Unitree’s decline today was inevitable. The earlier profit-taking funds have already left. But right now, it doesn’t seem appropriate to short. I think there are a few points worth highlighting:
1) The potential profit space from shorting is relatively limited.
2) We are still in a repair/recovery phase. We can’t determine yet whether a new round of dull, slow selling is beginning. Based on our logic, we’d rather miss the opportunity than “hold the short” and take the risk—so let’s just watch the market tomorrow at the opening.
