Today, Bitcoin saw a sharp rise followed by a pullback and a tight-range consolidation. In the Asia session early hours, it rallied from 81,100 to 82,059. After a brief push to higher levels, it failed to hold the 82,000 mark and quickly retreated to around 80,988. Long and short sides fought to a standstill during the day, with an amplitude of about 1–2%.
The 1-hour MACD is above the zero line and the golden cross is still in place, suggesting short-term momentum remains. However, the RSI and KDJ have already turned upward from overbought conditions, so the risk of chasing higher prices in the short term is relatively high. The weekly chart, for the first time in 45 weeks, has closed above the 50-week SMA—an important signal. But the uptrend still needs to be confirmed by the weekly price continuing to hold above it.
Near-term resistance is 82,000–83,000, and support is 81,200–80,200.
