🔥 BILLIONAIRES EVIADING TAX—OR USING THE LAW?

We often see headlines about Elon Musk like this:

💰 “He’s a billionaire, but he doesn’t pay taxes!”

But the situation is more complicated.

Tesla, in 2025, reported current tax under U.S. federal income tax as 0$ . Reuters says this is behind it: years of accumulated tax losses and legitimate tax incentives.

📈 Stock: Most of Musk’s wealth is not formed from a salary, but from the value of shares in companies like Tesla. When the share price rises, his wealth increases, but unless he sells the stock, this increase is not taxed like ordinary wage income.

₿ CRYPTO IS PRETTY CLOSE TO THE SAME LOGIC:

If Bitcoin goes from 50K to 100K, just the price increase doesn’t automatically mean it’s a taxable sales profit.

But if you sell BTC, swap it for another cryptocurrency, or use it to pay for goods/services, then under U.S. tax rules, this type of transaction can create a tax outcome.

⚠️ The key question is:

“Should rich people not pay taxes?”

Or:

“Even though the law is the same for everyone, doesn’t it give capital owners more opportunities to plan taxes?”

👇 WHAT DO YOU THINK?

Should the tax system be changed, or are the existing laws enough?
