The most torturous market trend isn’t actually the downtrend—it’s when the market has already started and sectors are rotating one after another, but the coin you hold just sits there doing nothing.
By the time you react, other people have already finished the first wave and the second wave of gains.
Choosing the wrong asset and getting on the wrong ship, and thus missing an entire cycle of the market—this feeling is even more uncomfortable than losing money.
