The first lesson in getting into crypto may not be technical, but a mindset. In just a day, I would go back and forth and pull a few rounds: when it goes up, I feel like I’ve finally figured it out; when it drops, I feel like the whole world is targeting me. If I’m down, I want to find a trick to get my money back. I hit every one of these.
Later, I changed my practice and added a few small actions. Every day, I only remember one fact or one question. If there’s breaking news that stirs things up, I don’t chase it. For any major decision, I don’t touch it during the hour when my emotions are at their highest or lowest. If I want to train my feel, I use small money or pure simulation, and I don’t touch my living expenses.
Going back and forth between gains and losses is normal. If you treat it as an exception every time, you’ll end up getting scared every day.
$BTC I’ll keep observing how it fluctuates and how people talk about it. I’m not in a rush to decide on the direction. Study notes are not investment advice.
How did you make it through that back-and-forth swing? Share some experience.
