Wow, Ethereum this wave is really something.
I woke up this morning and the price was directly pushed up to 2708, breaking through the consolidation range I’d been grinding through for days. Looking at the 1-hour chart, that sideways range around 2600 had been squeezed for almost a week. Today’s volume printed a single huge spike candle, and the MA7 also turned upward.
But honestly, this kind of sharp rally in a short time actually makes me a bit nervous. It pushed up to 2708 just now and then came back—now it’s hovering around 2660, a classic “breakout then pullback to confirm” pattern. Next, I think it’ll mainly depend on two levels: if it holds above 2650 (the MA7 area), then it’ll most likely go on to test 2750; if it drops back below 2600, then it’s a fake breakout and we’d have to go back to grinding.
I placed a few orders around 2660, set my stop-loss at 2590, betting this wave is a real breakout. My position isn’t heavy—because after a sudden rally, that’s when the most common thing is getting wicked/fake spikes.
