Michael Saylor sends another signal: Strategy may start adding to its BTC holdings again!
On Sunday, Michael Saylor posted a Strategy Bitcoin holdings chart and captioned it “A little more orange.” The market generally sees this kind of “orange dot” update as a sign that Strategy may announce a new round of BTC purchases.
Previously, Strategy had not bought or sold BTC for two consecutive weeks. As of September 13, it held approximately 845,050 BTC.
If this signal is ultimately confirmed by official filings, it would mean:
Strategy may end its brief pause in accumulating
Saylor is again signaling “keep stacking BTC”
The size of the company’s BTC holdings could grow further
More importantly, it’s the timing.
The Federal Reserve and the Bank of Japan have recently raised rates one after another, and the global liquidity environment is changing. Yet Saylor is still sending a signal to continue accumulating BTC.
With tighter macro conditions, corporate “whales” are still considering buying more.
Of course, this is still only a signal from Saylor. Whether the purchases are ultimately carried out, and how much BTC is bought, will depend on Strategy’s regulatory filings.
“A little more orange”—the next holdings table may have a few more orange dots.
