$BCH At around 2 a.m., Lao Li asked me: “Is this position solid?”
A little after 2 a.m., I finished a hot Americano before I’d even had a chance to savor it—it left a bitter taste in my mouth.
I stared at the chart for $BCH . My eyes felt dry and sore. Just as I was about to close my computer, my phone buzzed.
Lao Li’s voice message.
He runs a hardware store in the building materials market. He can’t even scroll through short videos smoothly, yet when it comes to buying coins, he’s stubborn as a mule. In the audio, his voice was muffled, saying the router was unplugged and plugged back in—plugged out again, then plugged in again.
“Ah Ping, this 250—257… has it really held or not?”
I didn’t answer directly.
Looking at the weekly chart, it’s been hammered down from over 690 to 180. Along the way, how many people got buried. In that stretch, the group chat was as quiet as a graveyard at midnight. He would hit the metal sheet in the store every day with a wrench.
Now 143 is holding it, and it’s slowly climbing back toward 257. The weekly MACD is still below the zero line, and the green bars have just started to show. RSI is 54—neither up nor down.
But on the daily chart, RSI is 70.4; on the 4-hour chart, it’s 73.1—short-term is clearly overheated.
The other day it touched 266, but it didn’t hold and fell back. The upper shadow was stretched really long.
So my take is:
On the big cycle: it’s in the process of repairing—it's not finished yet
On the short cycle: it’s overbought—chasing in is likely to end up stuck
The moving averages above are pressure; 180 below is support
I won’t give buy/sell points, and I can’t provide them.
Yesterday, Lao Li held a purple clay teapot, sipped some strong pu’er, and muttered:
“This time I won’t move. If it drops, I’ll act like I didn’t see it; if it rises, I won’t add.”
Right after he said that, his hand shook and the tea spilled onto the keyboard with one click.
I laughed beside him. But as I laughed, I felt a bit sour.
Control your hands—it’s harder than understanding the chart.
The sky is almost bright; I’m going to eat a bowl of small wontons.
Right now, are you holding, or are you waiting for a pullback?
