WHALE CLOSED SHORT $ZEC FOR -$19.08M. I’M WATCHING THE CONTINUATION OF THE GROWTH
At around 20:15, the 0x92ea..e9 wallet closed the SHORT on $ZEC with a volume of $60.42M.
The bet against $ZEC failed: the whale recorded a realized loss of -$19.08M, or about -31.58%. In other words, the large seller was forced out of the market.
For me, this is an important moment. When a large SHORT closes at a loss, it often means buyers have already pushed some sellers out of their positions. And closing shorts by itself can add fuel for a move upward.
I don’t chase a candle without a plan. If $ZEC holds above 1523.438022 and sellers can’t quickly push the price back down, I’ll consider a small-volume LONG.
If, however, after the short is closed the price immediately starts to weaken, I’ll skip the trade. A short squeeze works only when, after taking out the sellers, the market doesn’t give the level back.
The whale lost -$19.08M on the bet against $ZEC . Now I’m watching whether its exit will become fuel for a new upward impulse.
