$Lobster This move feels a bit off.

In 15m, it directly dropped by 2.54%; volume was up to 1.37x. The volatility Z hit 3.08, and the closing price broke below the lower edge of nearly 20 consecutive 5m candles. Taker activity was down -28.4%, with the buy/sell ratio at 0.56—meaning the sell orders were being pressed.

But what really caught my attention is OI. The 15m contract: -0.19%, notional -1.94M; the 1h contract: -0.45%, notional -2.44M. Price is down while OI is down too. This isn’t fresh short entry—it looks more like long de-leveraging, stop-losses getting swept, or positions shrinking. In other words, this drop was smashed down, not built up by shorts adding more.

Abnormal percentile is 91.7%, abnormal across the whole pool #8, notional change #9, and 24h trading volume of 59M. The depth also confirms it: it touched the boundary of the recent range, and active direction shows a clear bias.

With this kind of structure, I’ll watch it more closely—if a de-leveraging-style selloff can’t be contained, it can easily turn into a chain reaction. But if it’s just washing positions, it may actually provide a rebound window. The key is what happens to OI next: does it keep dropping, or does it stabilize? I’ll keep an eye on it for now.
