A crypto wallet does not actually store your coins. It stores the private keys that give you control over assets recorded on the blockchain.

That is why a seed phrase is so important. Anyone who has it may be able to access the wallet, while losing it can mean losing access permanently. Keep it offline, never share it, and be cautious of anyone asking for it.
