Qatar Energy Minister Saad al-Kaabi said US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent was “wrong” in saying the strategic Strait of Hormuz will be worthless in two years, according to Bloomberg.

Kaabi made the comment in response to Bessent’s remarks on the waterway, which is a key route for energy shipments.
