9.20 (Fri) Jinman Gold: Next Week’s Forecast for Sunny Conditions:

This week, the 4-hour gold chart showed a corrective pattern of first dipping and then rising. After probing the low at the 4235.24 area, it stopped falling and started building a base. It has held above the 20-period moving average, and the market has shifted from a rapid selloff to a range-bound rebound.

Next week’s key drivers for gold prices will be expectations for Federal Reserve policy and geopolitical risk. Pricing for rate cuts continues to heat up. At the same time, attention should be paid to changes in global risk sentiment—an improvement in risk appetite may temporarily divert some demand from precious metals.

On the 4-hour timeframe, the Bollinger Bands’ opening, which had been dispersing downward, is gradually converging and flattening. Price rebounded from the lower band to above the middle band. Near term, the bulls have the upper hand, but upside band resistance and selling pressure near the upper band are increasing at the same time. On a larger scale, the market still falls under the repair phase following the prior decline.

Trading should focus mainly on range-bound swings: on pullbacks to 4320–4340, consider long positions, targeting 4400 and 4440; on rebounds around 4420–4440, consider short positions, targeting 4360 and 4300.
