Bitcoin ETF fund flows this week were like a face that first dipped and then got pulled back.

On Friday, US spot Bitcoin ETFs saw net inflows of $433 million, which barely turned the week positive to a net inflow of $6.2 million. Among them, Fidelity’s FBTC contributed $310.7 million on the day, and BlackRock’s IBIT saw inflows of $108.4 million. In the same period, spot Ethereum ETFs recorded net outflows of about $140 million for the week, ending a four-week streak of net inflows. Source: The Block.

One observation is that after large outflows earlier in the week, BTC was still brought back into positive territory by institutional money, suggesting there is still support buying on dips. Another observation is that the ETH fund flow pipeline has weakened, making it more likely to be suppressed by a short-term switch of capital. Which do you care more about: the continuation of BTC’s rebound, or ETH’s capital flow recovery?
