🤑 Stock Update 19:55

BMNR hit a high of 26.41, but now it’s down to 25.47—couldn’t hold that peak for a day.

📉 BMNR BitMine -2.86%

Current price 25.47; the 24-hour range is 25.3 to 26.41. It has already pulled back a chunk from the high. Right now it’s trading slightly below the middle of the range. Trading volume: $6.9 million (not especially active).

On the news front, both pieces are discussing the same thing: BitMine’s pile of Ethereum and the company’s share-repurchase actions—can they actually prop up the stock price?
TradingKey’s article was posted about 22 hours ago. The headline is phrased as a question, which suggests the market still hasn’t reached a consensus.
Yahoo Finance’s piece is more direct, saying BitMine may be trading at a discount: the book value holds up, but the stock price hasn’t caught up.

Seen together, these two items are basically two sides of the same logic. One side says the Ethereum holdings and buybacks are cards that can lift the stock. The other side says the market isn’t pricing it according to that—it's trading at a discount instead.
Today’s move, sliding from 26.41 down toward the lower end of the 25.3–26.41 range, actually lines up with the “discount” narrative.

The holdings and buybacks are the “back-pocket” cards that can keep working—not a one-time catalyst. But in the short term, the chart clearly isn’t following those cards.

The drop isn’t huge, but it’s also not tiny. It doesn’t quite justify the label “major negative news.” It feels more like a natural reflection of the discount logic playing out on the tape.

🎯 How to look at it
At the moment, the “discount” explanation seems more like a description of the current situation rather than a call for a reversal.
The fact that today’s price dropped to the lower end of the range doesn’t really indicate excessive pessimism.
If later the price can get back above ~26 and even break through the 26.41 high, then the discount logic would effectively be acknowledged by the market. Conversely, unless it falls below 25.3 (the 24-hour low), the discount would be deepening.
Next, watch whether the 25.3 line can hold, and whether trading volume expands beyond $6.9 million.

When will the “card” of Ethereum holdings and buybacks be cashed in—are you waiting for that to happen before entering, or taking some position first while the price is in this discounted range?
