Grayscale’s Zcash ETF (ZCSH) has filed documents with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to carry out a 3-for-1 forward stock split. After the market close on September 28, holders will receive an additional 2 shares for every 1 share they own. The fund’s per-share price is expected to decrease accordingly, while the total value of holdings remains unchanged. Grayscale said the move is intended to lower the investment threshold; over the past year, the price of Zcash has risen by about 2,800%, making the ETF’s per-share price relatively high.
