Mining pool founder warns ZEC rally may be nearing its end
Jiang Zhuoer, founder of LaiBit mining pool, said ZEC's recent pullback to $1,445 signals the current rally could be running out of steam.
The context: trader Garrett Jin had previously shorted ZEC, drawing skepticism over whether he was deliberately positioning as a counterparty to attract retail long positions. Jiang said Jin's disclosure of a large spot position removed that theory — but flagged that Jin's ~200,000 ZEC holdings (roughly 1% of total supply) could become real selling pressure if he decides to exit.
Jiang's bigger point: in a token he describes as whale-controlled, smaller traders face an information disadvantage against large holders who can move price with a single decision. His conclusion — he's staying out of this trade entirely.
Why this matters: it's a useful reminder that a coin's parabolic run can hinge heavily on what a handful of large wallets decide to do next, not just broader market sentiment.
