If Money in a Wallet Could Be Told to Work, I Won’t Let It Just Sit There
I’ve had this weird habit for a long time.
Every time I get paid or receive money, my brain immediately divides it up.
“Okay, this is for paying electricity and internet. This is for monthly shopping. Don’t touch this one—keep it for emergencies. The rest… then I’ll think about what to do with it.”
Why make it so complicated?
Because I realized one thing: not all money has the same “job.”
Money for paying rent and bills can’t be spent recklessly. Money that I’ll use next month also doesn’t make sense to lock in a one-year deposit. Meanwhile, it’s such a waste if the money that’s just sitting there does nothing.
