A day trader doesn’t need to open trades every day.

You’re called a day trader because you close your trades within the day, not because you have to trade every single day.

If your setup appears 2 times a week, you take 2 trades.

If no setup appears, you take 0 trades.

Simple.

Your job as a day trader isn’t to find a trade every day.

Your job is to show up every day, watch the market, and wait for your setup + the right market conditions.

There’s a big difference between:

How can I find a trade today?
vs.
Is the market actually giving me my setup?

The second mindset will save you from a lot of unnecessary trades.
