U.S. President Donald Trump launched a social media poll asking users to vote on a new name for artificial intelligence, saying the term is inaccurate and awkward. According to ChainCatcher, he suggested alternatives including Superior Intelligence, Extreme Intelligence, and Supreme Intelligence.

Trump urged people to participate in the vote for what he called a better name for the evolving technology. More than 170,000 people had voted at the time of reporting, with Superior Intelligence, abbreviated as SI, leading with 40.6% of the vote.

Hours later, Elon Musk replied to the post, saying it would be smart enough that humans would not be able to understand it.
