$ETH $BTC $ZEC

🚨 Damn! Major coins plunge together, with nearly $200 million liquidated across the whole network, and 94,000 people buried! But the strangest part is—BTC only dropped 0.86%? 🚨

Brothers, today’s chart is too disjointed.

BTC is down 0.86% to 80,333, ETH is down 2.05% to 2,572, and SOL, DOGE, XRP all slide together. In the past 24 hours, a total of $197 million was liquidated across the market, 94,280 people were liquidated, and the largest single liquidation was on Bybit for ETHUSDT, worth $1.2 million.

But the even scarier signal is in the details—over the past hour, the liquidation share of longs is as high as 98%. This means the longs are still being continuously harvested, and panic is spreading.

So what bearish catalyst is smashing the market?

First, the shadow of rate hikes won’t go away. After the Fed hiked rates by 25 bps on September 16, the dot plot suggested at least one more hike within the year. Market pricing shows three more hikes before April 2027, with the federal funds rate rising to 4.50%–4.75%. Ongoing rate expectations are weighing on risk assets.

Second, the aftermath of the CLARITY bill failure isn’t over. On September 15, the Senate voted 49–50 to reject the bill, and BTC briefly fell below 75,000. Although it rebounded afterward, the extension of the regulatory vacuum means traditional U.S. institutions’ capital continues to stand by and wait.

Third, ETF flows have sharply reversed. On September 15 alone, Bitcoin ETFs recorded a net outflow of $450.4 million, with BlackRock’s IBIT and Fidelity’s FBTC leading the way.

📌 But here’s an extremely important detail—

Under the triple blow of rate hikes + bill failure + ETF outflows, in September BTC only fell by about 1.5%. This quarter is still up by about 32%, and it may log its first quarterly gain in a year.

Blockware Intelligence’s head said bluntly: “In a different market environment, rate hikes and the CLARITY bill not passing should have caused a much sharper price drop, but the actual reaction was subdued, indicating sellers are already exhausted.”

Those who wanted to sell have already sold. That’s a very positive signal for the medium and long term.

📌 Strategy:

For BTC, hold 76,500; for ETH, hold 2,450–2,500. In the short term, watch whether the long liquidations clear by September 20. If it stabilizes, you can consider entering in batches. Shorting here? The cost-performance at this level is already quite low.
