But there are 1 point you need to remember well 👇
🟢 “Real shares on Blockchain” ≠ “Synthetic Stock Token”
Tokenized Stock under this new framework is not merely Token that takes the stock price as a reference ❌
But Token must have a relationship with real shares and the corresponding proprietary rights related to shares, such as:
💰 Rights received Dividend
🗳️ Voting rights
📄 Rights consistent with the original shares
In simple terms:
Real shares → Token → Blockchain
Not:
Stock price → Token whose referenced price → Blockchain
🏦 Then what does the SEC approve?
SEC has created a Innovation Exemption temporary model for 5 years in order for Tokenizeds Securities Venues (TSVs) some type to be able to conduct buy-sell Tokenized Stocks through Permissioned AMM / Liquidity Pools under the conditions of SEC.
⏳ This framework has a lifespan 5 years
📅 Ends: 17 September 2031
And not whether every share can be Tokenize immediately.
There are conditions regarding KYC/Permissioned Access > and the company that owns the shares can decide to include the trading of its shares to create Token .
