BTC broke through $87K yesterday. Today it pulled back but is still holding in the **$85K–86K range**, setting a new high since January this year.
ETH is around $2.74K, SOL around $117, and the global Crypto market cap is again nearing $3T**.
🔥 BTC ETFs: +$999M in a single day
On Sep 21, U.S. spot BTC ETFs saw net inflows of nearly $1B, the highest in nearly 11 months.
IBIT +$381M, ARKB +$289M, FBTC +$239M.
ETH ETFs posted about +$270M in the same period.
🏦 Institutions keep buying
Strategy purchased another 950 BTC, about $75.7M, bringing total holdings to 846,000 BTC.
For Solana, DFDV increased its stake by 101,381 SOL over the week, and SOL Treasury is now at about 2.49 million tokens.
🌐 Tokenized Stocks enter the next phase
The SEC’s 5-year Innovation Exemption has taken effect.
The first batch of qualifying Tokenized Stock trading platforms is expected to submit applications as early as the next quarter.

Institutional capital is gradually shifting from “buying Crypto” to “moving traditional assets on-chain.”

1️⃣. The reserve bill passes in principle✔️
The House Financial Services Committee passed the “U.S. Reserve Modernization Act” 28:21. Within 180 days, the Treasury will build a strategic Bitcoin reserve; federal agencies must report their crypto assets within 60 days. The U.S. holds about 328,000 BTC worth approximately $24.7 billion, locked for 20 years and not to be sold—equivalent to removing about 1.5% of the circulating supply.

2️⃣. The Senate 49:50 fails to clear the 60-vote threshold
BTC briefly plunged to $74,910. But the SEC quickly issued an “innovation exemption”: within five years, it will allow tokenized stocks to trade on-chain; platforms are temporarily exempt from being deemed exchanges, market makers are exempt from registering as broker-dealers; and the CFTC also exempts developers. Bernstein: the SEC/CFTC will “actively and swiftly” advance the rules.

3️⃣. $77 trillion in U.S. stocks to go on-chain🎉
The SEC has approved a pilot for blockchain stock trading. The market cap of tokenized stocks has already hit a new high of $3.2 billion, up 1219% year-on-year. Over 30 days, DEX trading volume reached $15.75 billion. U.S. stocks will trade 24/7—traditional finance and crypto finance boundaries are disappearing.

Unusual events usually mean something is brewing—what big move are they holding back?
The Fed is clearly hawkish, yet BTC/ETH haven’t fallen; instead, capital has flowed back in. Gold has been weighed down by high interest rates and the strength of the dollar. On September 16, the Fed raised rates by 25bp to 3.75%–4.00% and made it clear that inflation is still elevated. On September 22, Fed officials continued to release hawkish signals; Reuters reported that the market at the time assigned roughly a 90% probability to another rate hike in December.
But at the same time:
On September 21, US spot BTC ETFs saw net inflows of about $999 million. On the same day, spot ETH ETFs saw net inflows of about $270 million. BTC briefly surged above $87,300. Over the past few days, BTC has shown a strong squeeze-like push. ETH has already broken above the prior key technical resistance around $2,661, reaching $2,806.
So right now, the most important thing isn’t simply judging “bull vs. bear,” but this:
Risk assets are challenging a hawkish-leaning macro environment. As long as fund flows continue to support, the trend can keep going. But if ETF inflows and spot buying weaken, high leverage may amplify the downside pullback in return. ⑤83600-84200: Strong support. Consider trying a long with a small position
⑥80600-81300: If 82500 breaks and then price pulls back into this range, it’s support on a higher time frame and also the turning point of the trend. Be cautious—cautious, and even more cautious
⑦If 80000 breaks, it indicates bulls are weakening, the structure is weakening, and shorts may take over

①2933-3150: Bull/bear position. If a big bullish candle breaks out and does not break back, keep pushing higher
②2880--2905: Second pressure zone above

Just now I was scrolling through my social feed and saw an old friend we used to trade with. He’s switched careers and now sells insurance.

In the comments, someone asked why he doesn’t trade anymore. He replied with a line: “Trading is not a meal that lasts forever.”

I stared at that sentence for quite a while.

To be honest, people who trade have all thought about this question sooner or later: Can I keep doing it for good? When you’re young, you’re healthy, you can stay up late, you can handle pressure, and you can also digest the ups and downs of profit and loss. But what happens when you get older? At forty or fifty, can you still keep watching the charts every day? Can you still withstand swings of tens or even hundreds of thousands at a moment’s notice?
Most people’s answers are no.

This profession—trading—looks free, but in reality it’s a “youthful” job. Your reaction speed, your energy, and your ability to take stress all decline as you age. And there’s another problem: there’s no real accumulation. If you trade for ten years, you may not be much better off than someone who’s only been at it for five.

That’s why I’ve always felt that traders need a backup plan. You can’t pour all your time and energy into trading; you need to leave yourself an exit. It could be doing other kinds of investing, learning a skill, or running a sideline business.

Someday when you don’t want to do it anymore—or you can’t keep going—you’ll at least have somewhere to go.
