Gold next week outlook (9/21-9/25):
Gold ultimately failed to break through 4400 on Friday night.
To a certain extent, the upward momentum on the weekly chart has not fully played out.
Therefore, next week, while still looking bullish, we need to remain cautious—respect every resistance level, and use smaller ranges to drive the larger range.
The main support for the bullish bias in gold is around 4350. As long as it is not broken down effectively, you can continue to watch for attempts to push toward the 4400 area.
If it breaks down, it’s possible that the rally attempt may fail.
If 4400 is broken through, there is a chance to move all the way to the 4470 region, but the resistance in the 4430-40 area still needs to be handled cautiously.
The most worth watching event next week should be the U.S.-China trade negotiations.
The outcome may affect gold through risk sentiment, the U.S. dollar, and tariff expectations.
When dealing with such news, always keep your position sizes within trading discipline.$XAU
