Deep Tide TechFlow message: On September 20, Sebastien Guillemot, Chief Technology Officer of the privacy blockchain Midnight, stated in a post that the Midnight mainnet is about to open smart contract deployments and will support the creation of custom tokens that can be traded between a private ledger and a public ledger. At the initial launch stage, the related tokens can already be used via Offer Files in certain decentralized finance (DeFi) scenarios; later upgrades will expand more applications through composable contracts.
