The European Space Agency (ESA) teamed up with Pokémon and sent an official Pikachu plush to the International Space Station (ISS). The lovable electric mouse didn’t travel alone: it accompanied astronaut Sophie Adenot on a real scientific mission. Pikachu proved it had stellar stamina by staying in orbit for 67 days, from April 11 to June 17, 2026. During its floating adventure, it completed a total of 1,040 laps around Earth!
