Will this cycle still have a “junk coin season”? I think YES—but the game will be different.
In previous cycles, when hot money rushed in, BTC was never the final destination.
2017 had ICOs.
2021 had IDOs, IEOs, and SHOs.
When greed and expectations of profits rise, capital will naturally flow toward assets that can deliver the biggest growth.
That’s why we’ve seen tokens rally 10x, 20x, even 100x.
But this time, I’m looking at the market from a different angle.
It’s not that “every coin will go up,” but that capital is gradually gravitating toward narratives with real infrastructure.
Stablecoins.
RWA.
On-chain financial assets.
DeFi.
Blockchain infrastructure.
If traditional capital continues finding its way into crypto, I want to be where the money is flowing—not just chasing tokens that everyone is FOMO-ing into.
That’s also why my watchlist is leaning more toward:
🔹 ETH – a critical infrastructure layer for the blockchain ecosystem.
🔹 CRCL – the stablecoin story and on-chain capital flows.
🔹 COIN – one of the bridges between traditional finance and crypto.
🔹 HOOD – continues to benefit if financial assets are moved onto the blockchain.
🔹 UNI – DeFi and trading on-chain assets.
I don’t think memes or altcoins will disappear.
On the contrary, if a real bull market takes shape, a “junk coin season” could still show up.
But I won’t try to guess which 100 coins will each pump 100x.
I want to find where big money has a reason to move first.
For me, this is the real difference of this cycle:
Not just hunting for high-gain coins. But hunting for narratives that can actually attract capital.
