Grayscale Zcash ETF to undergo a stock split

The Grayscale Zcash ETF (ZCSH) plans a 3-for-1 stock split, with trading starting at the post-split price on September 30. Launched less than a month ago, the fund has already attracted more than $233 million in net inflows; its net assets are close to $890 million, and ZEC has also surged to around $1,521 at high levels. Market interpretation is broadly bullish for ZEC: ETF fund inflows and the split’s reduction in the price per share will both strengthen institutional and retail attention on privacy-coin trading. However, the split itself does not create any new value. In the short term, ZEC has been chased higher by capital; both mining hashrate and difficulty have hit new highs. The more critical factor ahead is whether net ETF inflows can be sustained, and whether there is still buy support when prices pull back from these elevated levels.
