This rebound in XRP is up 6.93%. The 50-day and 200-day moving averages are inching closer toward a golden cross. Let me say this upfront: technical signals are never a guarantee. I’m bullish, but the pace has to be slow.
First layer: position and indicators. XRP opened at 1.2964, briefly hit a high of 1.4028, then pulled back to around 1.3863. The 50-day MA is still below the 200-day MA, so it’s still a death cross—but the gap between the two lines has shrunk to the smallest since the golden cross in August 2024. At this rate, a daily golden cross could appear around mid-October. ADX is 35.2. Once it holds above the 25 trend line, buyers take the upper hand. RSI is 54.6—not yet into overbought. The squeeze/momentum indicator has been flashing for 11 consecutive candles, suggesting volatility is building pressure for a big move. This kind of squeeze often precedes a bigger directional break 📈
Second layer: the environment. Bitcoin just reclaimed the $80,000 level. Previously, rate hikes, the CLARITY bill failing to pass the Senate, and the Bank of Japan raising rates all pressured the market—sentiment really got beaten up.
