#xrp交易所储备创七年新低

On the same day, two sources reported XRP supply figures that point in opposite directions.

▪️ One: All-exchange reserves hit a seven-year low of 1.7 billion coins, down 55% in nine months
▪️ The other: Binance alone holds 2.62 billion coins, the highest in 69 days
▪️ One source is 54% higher than the “all-network” figure—both cannot be true at the same time
▪️ On-chain direct read format: 24 exchanges, 21.27 billion coins

The one that got forwarded the most is the one that’s the smallest.

The disagreement isn’t about whether reserves actually fell. It’s about this metric not telling you “how much more can be sold.” XRP’s gate isn’t in exchanges—it’s in Ripple’s custody accounts: on the 1st of each month, up to 1 billion coins can be released. Any unused portion is locked back, with the actual net increase only about 200–300 million—3 to 5 times different from the headline numbers. There are still 31.98 billion coins left in the account, with the next release on October 1.

And the truly “pressed” chips aren’t in exchanges either: about 60% of circulating XRP is held at a loss.

Watch three things:
① How many of the batch locked back on October 1 (does the net increase land at 200–300 million, or exceed it?)
② Will Binance reserves keep rising (does it break the 69-day high again?)
③ Whether the ETF’s 10th-week streak of net inflows can be sustained (it already saw a $5.15 million outflow on 9/17)

This narrative—“exchange balance hits a new low = sell pressure disappears”—came from BTC. Before switching assets, check whether the denominator and the valves are the same setup.

Will you read it as supply getting tighter, or as holders refusing to sell at low levels?$XRP
