In the crypto market, 90% of people lose money—it isn’t really a technical issue
To be honest, what truly widens the gap between the rich and the poor in the crypto world has never been whether you can read K-lines or draw trend lines. It’s human nature and timing.
Recently, the market has been repeatedly shaking people out, with big rises and big falls playing out one after another:
Some people miss the move and bang their head; some chase and get trapped; some panic-sell in the chop; some hold on, turning unrealized gains into liquidation.
After observing over a thousand traders, I found a harsh truth:
Beginners die chasing pumps, veterans die catching bottoms, experts die from greed, and ordinary people die from frequent trading.
The market is never short of opportunities—the missing thing is patience.
1. When the market is good, everyone is a genius. People post doubling screenshots and profit trades everywhere. You follow in and take the last remaining ticket.
2. When the market is bad, the whole internet is panicking and singing bearish songs. You cut losses at the low point, and the market rebounds immediately.
The most harmful thing in the crypto market isn’t the行情—it’s herd mentality + frequent trading + not using stop-losses.
Many people’s loss logic is extremely simple:
When it rises a bit, they get greedy and want to make more;
When it drops a bit, they get fearful and worry about losing more;
They endlessly cycle through chasing and killing.
Those who can consistently make money do only three things:
✅ If you can’t understand the market, you decisively stay in cash (no position)
✅ Only act when the opportunity is certain enough and the size is big enough
✅ Always put risk control before returns
The crypto market has never been about who can make money faster—it’s about who can stay alive longer.
One time of going all-in and getting rich doesn’t beat ten times of getting lucky and then crashing. Compounding and staying alive—that is the ultimate way.
Don’t envy other people’s doubles. Behind their extreme profits are countless times you can’t see them getting liquidated.
Stabilize your rhythm, control your position size, and refuse frequent trading. Go slower—it’s actually the fastest way.
Opportunities are always there. Once your principal is gone, everything is gone.
A message for everyone still holding on in the crypto world:
If you can endure the volatility and keep your peace through loneliness, you can hold on to the trend.
Don’t panic in the low points, don’t get greedy at the highs—what comes next will belong to those who can stay steady.
