Ripple and the XRP Ledger are preparing to activate the Batch V1.1 upgrade, allowing up to eight transactions to be bundled into a single operation and processed under an all-or-nothing success principle.

This feature targets scenarios where assets and payments need to be completed simultaneously, avoiding situations where one party’s transaction succeeds while the other’s fails.

The upgrade has received support from 30 out of 35 monitored validators, surpassing the required threshold of 28 votes to enter the activation countdown phase.

The countdown phase starts at 14:06:41 UTC on September 15. If the support rate remains above 80% for 14 days, Batch V1.1 is expected to be activated no later than September 29.

Batch V1.0 was not activated previously due to a signature verification vulnerability. RippleX redesigned the feature and released it in the xrpld 3.3.0 version.
