Dow Jones at the US open: stop or continued decline?

Even before the US session opened, I was short on the Dow Jones.

I already closed half of the position. I left the second half under a tight stop.

This allowed me not to make decisions based on emotions after the market opened.

Next, everything depended on the scenario.

If the Dow Jones continues to fall, I stay in the trade.

If the price breaks the scenario, the stop triggers.

You don’t need to know the future. You need to know what you will do if the market moves in any of the possible directions.
