🚨 Emergency Alert! FomoPeek Some Versions May Contain Malicious Code
Joint investigation by the SlowMist team and the OKX Security team found that certain FomoPeek versions 1.1–1.2 may contain malicious code. There have been reports from users that assets were stolen. The relevant code may target vulnerabilities in the iOS system, attempting to read sensitive data such as the Keychain. If successful, there is a risk that private keys, recovery phrases, and login credentials could be exposed.
If you have used any of these versions before, don’t take any chances. First check the status of your assets and do not continue to operate your assets using the original device. A safer approach is to regenerate a brand-new recovery phrase and private key on a trusted device where the app has never been installed, migrate your assets to that device, and also upgrade your iOS system.
