December 2013, a forum post titled 'I AM HODLING' went up while Bitcoin was crashing. The guy openly admitted he was a bad trader and just wasn't going to sell.
That typo became one of the most repeated words in crypto.
Bitcoin was a few hundred dollars that week. It's at $81,053 now.
The funny part is the post wasn't a strategy. It was a confession. He couldn't time the market, so he stopped trying. For a lot of people that turned out better than being clever.
