$ETH Ethereum breaks through $2600—where do we go from here?
Let me share my thoughts:
Reasons to be bullish:
Institutions and large whales continue to accumulate, and the ETF sees net inflows; exchange ETH balances are at low levels, supply is tight. Circulating supply is decreasing.
Technically, it has moved above the short moving averages. Once $2600 holds, my target is $2690.
Reasons to be bearish:
Increased inflows to exchanges, and whales transferring coins to exchanges could raise potential sell pressure.
Some institutions have spot holdings long and futures contracts short—not purely bullish.
Trading approach:
$2600 is the boundary between bull and bear.
If the daily chart holds above $2600, and a pullback to $2580–$2600 does not break, it’s slightly bullish, with a target of $2690.
If $2600 is rejected and price falls below $2450–$2480, it turns weak; if the close breaks $2380, it could go to $2200.
Don’t chase; wait for pullback and confirmation. Keep position size light and set stops just below key support.
The futures long/short ratio is relatively high—be careful of long-side liquidation.
