【Short】At the current price 1.1450, every step has a reason
Main point: At 1.1450, short directly. Take profit/stop-loss logic: stop-loss at 1.1665—if price gets above it, accept the mistake.
· Support at 1.11 below: when it drops near there, someone will likely pick it up;
· Resistance at 1.17 above: when it rises near there, it’s easy to get sold
How to do it (Short):
· Entry: short directly at the current price 1.1450
· Loss cut: 1.1665 (lose about 1.9% then admit it—don’t hold stubbornly)
· Take profit: 1.0806 (first target; when it hits, cut the position in half first)
· Position sizing: try with 1–2% of your funds first—don’t go all-in
⚠️ The big 4H direction is still slightly bullish; this trade is against the larger trend: cut the position size in half, and don’t move the stop-loss.
(Hit rate is based on historical stats and doesn’t guarantee results; if you copy the trade, always use a stop-loss and control position size)
Because you only dare to buy after you “confirm the uptrend,” and by then the profit has already been eaten away.
Here’s a ready-made example using $DOT : current price 1.15, and the MACD is still pressing below the 0 line. By the standards above: short the bounce at 1.15, stop-loss at 1.17, target 0.9340. Trading volume is 15.5M—this amount can support a swing.
Although the price is still above the 20-day line at 1.13, it’s very close—if it breaks below, the bears will get momentum.
The short-term range is very clear: support 1.11, resistance 1.17—when shorting, use resistance as the line of defense.
I personally shorted directly at 1.15 at current price once, stopped at 1.17, and tested with a light position.
If it breaks through 1.11 straight away, it means the short was right—but remember to push the stop-loss close to the entry price, so your winning trade doesn’t turn into a losing one.
+1.7% in 24h.
Funding rate +0.0100%: long and short are still relatively balanced, not at an extreme.
Sense of location: the current price is 2.7% away from support and 2.3% away from resistance—space and risk are about the same, so don’t go too heavy. First figure out this math, then decide how much you’ll allocate.
