Today the semiconductor sector’s overall trend opened higher and then weakened, or opened higher and continued to trade in a range, but Sandisk $SNDK opened by pushing upward, pulled back, and then it still managed to break above the prior high and rally further—this is a unique stock-specific行情.
However, at the open there were positions being used to trade coins, so there was no spare position to buy Sandisk. Later, when the available position freed up, during the period of oscillation and gradual rise, I bought some Sandisk. I knew it would try to attack near the Bollinger upper band, but I really didn’t expect the late-session rally to happen in this way. I don’t know if there was some kind of news. Late in the session, most semiconductors were being pushed higher. #SNDKUSDT
Outlook prediction:
1⃣️: It’s similar to Bitcoin’s trend—either it opens below the upper band and closes with a small bearish candle,
2⃣️: Or it opens higher than the upper band, pulls back, and continues rallying to make new highs (a slightly higher probability), because inexplicably large orders flowed into some semiconductor stocks and drove the rally late in the session. I expect it to open higher on Monday.
