According to Sina Finance, the International Atomic Energy Agency said it learned that a cooling tower at one reactor unit at Russia's Kursk Nuclear Power Plant was hit by a drone on September 17. The agency said the reactor unit was operating at the time, its operating status was not affected, and no fire occurred. IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi said any attack on nuclear facilities is unacceptable and reiterated that all parties should exercise maximum military restraint to prevent the risk of a nuclear accident.
