🚨 #011 — BTC recovers US$80,000: buy now or wait for confirmation?

$BTC acaba de recuperar los US$80.000 y it reached approximately US$80,600–80,700 after falling below US$75,000 this week.

The important thing is the context.

Bitcoin absorbed:

• the Fed rate hike (Federal Reserve of the United States);
• the blocking of the CLARITY Act advance (a bill to set clearer rules for the US crypto market);
• and a macroeconomic environment that is still demanding.

In addition, Bitcoin spot ETFs (exchange-traded funds that hold direct exposure to BTC) once again received approximately US$160 million in net inflows after two straight trading sessions of outflows.

📌 Would you aggressively buy after this move?

No.

BTC has already risen more than 5%, and now I want to check whether the breakout is real.

🟢 Confirmation: holding above US$80,000 and clearly breaking above US$82,000 would strengthen the recovery.

🟠 Caution: quickly losing US$80,000 could indicate a false breakout (breaking an important level and then immediately falling back below).

🔴 Invalidation: returning below US$77,000—especially if it then loses US$75,000—would seriously worsen the recovery.

Also, part of the move was accompanied by closing short positions (bets that expected a drop), so I wouldn’t assume that the entire rise represents fresh demand.

The signal improved. Chasing the price is another thing.

I’d rather miss the first leg of a rally than buy just because a candle turned green.

🟠 FOLLOW-UP / OBSERVATION

Conviction: 94/100
