$SUI has shown exponential growth for several days, and in the last 24 hours, its price has risen by more than 10%, reaching beyond 0.81$.

Personally, I opened a long position to take advantage of this move, but before doing so I wanted to understand what lies behind it—whether there are reasons that justify it, or if it’s just pure FOMO. Below, I share what, in my opinion, could be driving this momentum:

- Grayscale, the cryptocurrency and digital asset management firm, on September 14, 2026, formally included SUI in its new model portfolios.

- Sui network integration starting September 17, 2026, with the platforms:

* Aurora: to enable transfers from other cryptocurrencies to Sui, removing complex transactions and additional fees.

* Daya: which allows users to make payments with stablecoins without the user paying the network commission directly (gas), aimed at remittances and businesses in Africa, especially Nigeria.

- Definitive closure of Phantom Wallet, as it will remove support for the Sui network on September 24, 2026, forcing users to move their funds to native wallets

- Migration of the old Sui interface before September 30, requiring application developers to update their code to faster interfaces.

However, after 3 consecutive days of gains, I believe SUI could reach $1 again—especially after the short squeeze from August 22, which pushed its price close to that level. Even so, SUI hasn’t surpassed $1 since May 27, 2026, and its all-time high is $5.35, reached in June 2025.

That said, even though the scenario seems favorable for SUI, the broader market remains sensitive to Fed announcements and the lack of approval of the CLARITY Act. For that reason, I suggest keeping a close eye on the token’s behavior, securing profits, and avoiding holding the position for too long amid volatility.
