Sector rotation matters more than the ups and downs of the index
The U.S. stock market has become the focus today—here’s my take.
A few reference points before the U.S. stock market opens.
Regulatory pressure on crypto remains tight. Even if risk appetite in U.S. stocks improves, it doesn’t mean the compliance narrative is warming up in sync.
The fiscal deficit is a slow-moving variable, but once auctioned subscription demand weakens, signals will first show up in the dollar and U.S. Treasuries.
Transmission to the crypto market: BTC 80847 (+5.30%), with PCE coming in lower → rate-cut expectations heat up → the dollar weakens → BTC benefits.
My suggestion is to stay on the sidelines as the main approach—don’t chase gains and don’t sell into weakness.
