On Thursday, Bitcoin ETFs saw net inflows of $159 million. After falling for several days in a row, this is the first time it turned positive.

But when you break it down, the flavor changes. BlackRock’s IBIT alone pulled in $183 million—$24 million more than the total net inflow for the day.

The other funds were running in the opposite direction. Fidelity moved $16.6 million out. Another fund also left with $7.57 million.

Ethereum didn’t follow through. ETH ETFs saw a net outflow of $39.24 million. And BlackRock’s ETHA itself ran off with $42.86 million.

XRP is also bleeding, with $5.15 million outflows. Solana, meanwhile, didn’t move at all. The money is picking winners—not a broad-based rally.

The real spotlight is Zcash. ZCSH, this new ETF, sucked up $46.56 million in a single day 🛡️. That’s its second-largest daily inflow since launch.

Grayscale also chimed in, announcing that ZCSH will do a 1-for-3 split. Registration is on September 28, with new shares issued on the 29th. Trading begins on the 30th at the post-split price.

A stock split isn’t a dividend—it just cuts one share into three. With a lower unit price, small investors can buy more easily, but the total value doesn’t increase by a cent.

Total fund assets are $9.519 billion. Thursday alone saw $2.81 billion in trading volume. Bitcoin rose nearly 6% that day, touching $80,000 🚀.

But if you tally the whole week, the weekly net flow for BTC ETFs is still outflows. A one-day bounce-back doesn’t mean the trend has changed.

Don’t forget the bigger backdrop. Last week, the Fed just raised rates by 25 basis points. Money is already tight, and people are even more selective about where they put it.

Bloomberg’s Balchunas is bold. He says that one day, the Bitcoin ETF’s scale could be three times that of gold ETFs.

So the money from Thursday says just one thing: some people are back, but they’re choosing very carefully. Old coins, new coins, privacy coins—the treatment is far from the same.

📌 Money is back a bit, but it only goes to the few it favors.
