My strategy here is confirmation first, not chasing the 5% move.
Long setup: I’d look for an entry if $BTC breaks and holds above the $80K–$81.5K resistance zone, followed by a successful retest of $80K as support. The trade would be invalidated if price falls back below the breakout area. For taking profit, I’d scale out into the next resistance/highs rather than holding through a clear rejection.
Short setup: If $BTC gets rejected around $80K–$81.5K and loses $80K again, I’d wait for confirmation before entering a short. The first downside area I’d watch is around $76K–$72K, with the larger support zone around $58K–$60K. I’d close the short if BTC reclaims the resistance area and the bearish setup is invalidated.
The key for me is simple: hold above $80K → look for long confirmation; rejection below $80K → look for short confirmation.
