S&P is falling, the Nasdaq is up only 0.38%, and gold is “asleep.” In the gainers list, Coinbase (a U.S. crypto exchange) +5.28%, Intel +4.87%, and MicroStrategy +4.77% took the lead.

This isn’t broad-based strength; I think before the decision someone with higher beta got out early. Coinbase at 178.80 has already pushed up to 180.84 at the 24-hour upper edge—only about 1% away from the range high. If tonight doesn’t beat expectations, a pullback to 166 along this line could happen even faster than a push to 180.

Storage-related names are also quietly moving: SanDisk +3.37%, Micron +2.76%, while Nvidia is only +0.45%. The money in AI looks like it’s rotating from the compute leaders toward storage and equipment. This trend doesn’t need support from rate cuts as much as pure crypto stocks do—it can hold up better.

The easiest-to-miss trap tonight is basically one line: the S&P and gold aren’t following. If the index doesn’t confirm, the likelihood that the runner is the last one holding the bag is even higher.
