It seems the bull market really is here—and it’s coming in quietly, without a sound.

In the past few days, the market action has been feeling more and more off. It’s not that it’s dropping in a way that makes sense—it’s that it’s rising a little too recklessly, with a kind of unreasonable strength.

The Fed raised rates by 25 basis points and it held; there’s been nonstop war-related news and it held; even a “Black Friday” type of bad news—one that would normally be enough on its own to smash the market—didn’t cause much of a drop. Instead, quite a few altcoins kept surging harder and harder.

I’ve always felt that judging a bull market can’t be based only on how much things are up. You also have to see whether the market is able to drop at all when bad news hits.

When everyone is waiting for bad news to crash the market, but every time it gets hit there’s someone there to catch it—and sometimes when the bad news actually lands, it keeps going up—this kind of chart action is exactly what’s worth taking seriously.

Now I even find myself looking forward to it: if so many pieces of bad news can’t push it down, then when a truly heavyweight piece of good news finally arrives, how crazy will the market get?😂
