Crypto market — 18 September 2026
Today, the crypto market shows a moderate rebound. Bitcoin is trading at about $77–78k, gaining roughly 1.5–2% over the day.
BTC: After a sharp drop amid the decision by the US Senate not to advance the CLARITY Act, the price held above $76k. This indicates demand at current levels. However, corporate demand remains weak: publicly traded companies bought only about 5,900 BTC over the past three months.
ETH: Ethereum is around $2,470, up about 1.6% over the past day. The nearest important support zone is $2,400, while analysts note resistance in the $2,550–2,600 area. At the same time, ETH ETFs have recorded outflows for the third day in a row, which remains a negative factor.
The main risk: the global backdrop remains challenging — central banks are tightening policy, bond yields are elevated, and geopolitical tensions are keeping oil prices above $100. This may limit appetite for risk assets.
Output: today we are seeing a recovery, but it is still too early to consider it the start of a sustained uptrend. For BTC, the key remains holding the $76–77k area and the emergence of stronger institutional demand. This is a market overview, not an investment recommendation.
