#Huang Renxun, NVIDIA: Next year's chip sales volume will double

NVIDIA CEO Huang Renxun said he expects next year's chip sales volume to be about twice this year's. This is a demand outlook, not realized performance. On September 17, at an AI summit in Scotland, he said that countries and multiple industries continue to invest in AI. NVIDIA's latest quarterly revenue was US$96.22 billion, up 106% year over year; data center revenue was US$89.0 billion, up 117% year over year. The company also estimates that for the fiscal year ending January 2028, revenue could grow by about 70%. However, management noted that currently the available supply capacity supports about 70% of demand. For shipments to approach doubling, the key is whether wafer, memory, packaging, power, and data center build-outs can expand in sync. Going forward, watch the next quarter's US$108 billion revenue guidance, the progress of supply expansion, and cloud providers' capital expenditures.
