Privacy-focused AI platform FLock.io has signed a memorandum of understanding with the United Nations Development Programme's Dominican Republic office to explore privacy-preserving AI, distributed systems, data governance, and trusted public digital infrastructure. The cooperation will focus on inclusive digital systems, social protection, and climate sustainability.
According to Foresight News, FLock.io previously took part in a UNDP SDG Blockchain Accelerator project and traveled to the Dominican Republic in May to advance an agricultural microinsurance pilot. The pilot used AI-assisted risk assessment and a blockchain-based claims mechanism to explore climate risk protection for local smallholder farmers while reducing exposure of raw and sensitive data.
The MoU also expands the partnership into knowledge exchange, institutional learning, and long-term cooperation on public digital infrastructure. FLock.io said it is continuing to push DeAI, AI, and blockchain technologies from model and infrastructure layers into public-sector applications, while expanding its work in government AI, data privacy, and trusted digital infrastructure.
