According to the announcement from Binance, the exchange will support the Stargate Finance (STG) token merge to LayerZero (ZRO) and will carry out a series of related changes across spot trading, futures, margin, loans, Simple Earn, Binance Pay, Convert, Low-Value Assets, and Buy & Sell Crypto. Binance said all STG tokens will be swapped to ZRO at a ratio of 1 STG = 0.08634 ZRO. The exchange also stated that trading on existing ZRO spot trading pairs will not be affected. For spot markets, Binance will remove all existing STG spot trading pairs, including STG/USDT, at 2026-10-06 03:00 (UTC), and all pending STG spot orders will be canceled at that time. Binance Spot Copy Trading will remove the same spot trading pairs at 2026-10-05 03:00 (UTC), and Trading Bots services for the affected spot pair will also be removed where applicable. Deposits and withdrawals of STG tokens will be suspended at 2026-10-06 03:30 (UTC), after which STG deposits and withdrawals will no longer be supported. Binance said it will handle the technical requirements for users involved in the event.

In derivatives and margin-related products, Binance Futures will stop allowing new positions for the STGUSDT contract starting from 2026-09-24 08:30 (UTC) and will close all positions and conduct automatic settlement at 2026-09-24 09:00 (UTC). Binance Margin will suspend Cross Margin and Isolated Margin borrowings on STG at 2026-09-19 06:00 (UTC) and will remove STG from Cross and Isolated Margin at 2026-09-24 10:00 (UTC). Binance Loans (Flexible Rates) and VIP Loan will close all outstanding STG loan positions at 2026-09-28 03:00 (UTC). Binance Simple Earn will stop supporting STG Simple Earn Flexible Products from 2026-09-30 07:00 (UTC), with remaining positions and accrued rewards automatically redeemed to users’ Spot Accounts. Binance Pay will remove STG from supported cryptocurrencies at 2026-09-29 07:00 (UTC), while Binance Convert will remove STG and associated pairs at 2026-10-06 02:00 (UTC). Convert Low-Value Assets will remove STG at 2026-10-05 02:00 (UTC), and Buy & Sell Crypto will remove STG and associated pairs at 2026-10-06 02:00 (UTC).
